Welcome.
I live in the woods in Oregon’s Willamette Valley with my family, a small herd of Nigerian dwarf goats, a flock of chickens, and too many cats. Most days are spent on farm chores, homeschooling my girls, reading by the fire, and writing.
I’m never without a knitting project on my needles.
I work in seasonally inspired crafts: naturally dyeing wool and fabric, making goat’s milk soap, foraging, gardening, and preserving the harvest.
I’m a hermit, but can occasionally be convinced to leave the house. Home is my favorite place to be.
Where you’ll find me:
Substack: essays and reflections on living slower.
Website: recipes, tutorials and (soon) my farm shop.
Instagram: snapshots of the everyday.
YouTube: an archive of old knitting videos, a couple tutorials, and the occasional new upload.
Thanks for stopping by.
